About NYC Poker Academy
Poker can look intimidating from the outside—full of unwritten rules, insider language, and players who seem to have started years ago. NYC Poker Academy is being created to give people a clearer way in and a meaningful way forward.
We welcome every level. Beginners can learn without embarrassment. Developing players can build structure around their game. Advanced players can study, review, and learn through specialized sessions with announced professional guests.
Around those courses, we are building experiences and conversations that help people meet, practice, exchange strategy, and enjoy the game responsibly.
Community, built intentionally
Community features will grow with the people who join: curated discussions, study groups, event announcements, and opt-in connections for players looking to practice or organize home games.
Discuss hands, decisions, and approaches without the noise and ego that can shut newer players out.
Hear about classes, live practice opportunities, professional sessions, and community gatherings.
Build opt-in player connections around clear community standards rather than publishing private game details openly.
